Playgroups are one of the best benefits of ALECPTA membership!  Groups decide when, where and how often they meet.  We'll do our best to honor your request and pair you with a group of similar age and gender.  Many children and parents remain lifelong friends as a result of their playgroups!  Check out our outings area to register for your playgroup today!!

The Avon Lake Key Club & Homecoming Committee is rallying everyone to join them in honoring those who have battled cancer in Light Up Avon Lake 2014, a luminaria ceremony, homecoming weekend, Sunday, October 5, 2014. All proceeds from the event will generate funds for University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. This is an event that gives our community an opportunity to remember the people we have lost to cancer, to support people who currently have cancer, and to honor people who have fought cancer in the past.

Join us at 6:00 p.m. after the homecoming festivities for music by D Productions who will be featuring the favorite songs of those we are honoring, face painting, kid craft tables provided by Lowe’s and dinner will be available for purchase from several popular food trucks and after, the lighting of luminaries and reading of the names of those honored in the Avon Lake High School stadium.

North Royalton Early Childhood PTA Children's Fall ReSale

ADMISSION: Admission is only $1.00 from 9am until 1pm.
EARLY BIRD sale admission is $5.00 from 8am- 9am.

SPACES: 

• Cafeteria spaces are approximately 9’ x 9’ with a 6’ round table and 2 chairs for $25
• Gymnasium spaces are approximately 15’x15’ with 2 chairs (no table) for $30
• They also have a few bigger spots in the gym measuring approximately 15'x27’. 2 chairs are included (no table.) These spots are $45.
• They have 3 large spots in the cafeteria measuring approximately 15'x15' with a 6’ round table and 2 chairs for $30.

Buy local. Divine Scoops, Avon Lake's newest ice cream and gourmet chocolates store, is owned and operated by Mark and Arlene Jaroscak, life-long Avon Lake residents and graduates of ALHS.

Divine Scoops has a Divine Kid's Club for ages 3 yrs. to 17 yrs. In this program, children and students earn free ice cream by completing four acts of kindness or volunteerism per month.

Divine Scoops is located at 140 Lear Road, Avon Lake.

Preschool Sports has 3 offerings this fall: Tot Soccer (Ages 3-6), Tot Football (Ages 3-6), and Youth Cheerleading (Pre-K-4th Grade). 

Tot Soccer is offered Saturdays at 9am, 10am, and 11am. 

Tot Football is offered Mondays at 6pm, and Wednesdays at 6pm. 

Youth Cheerleading is offered Tuesdays at 6pm.

The Collins Family outdoor theater will be celebrating "Christmas in July", this Friday July 25, with the movie "Rudolph & Frosty's Christmas in July" at 845pm followed by "The Santa Clause". I hope see you here. Bring your own chairs, blankets and drinks.
