Preschool Sports / LCSC Youth Sports – Program Offerings
Unless otherwise stated, classes are designed for boys and girls, ages 3-6.

• Class schedule and location vary per program and session.
• NOTE: There will be one special practice at Avon Lake’s Memorial Football Field (Day and Time TBD). We will need all parents, ready and willing, to actively help their child through the drills and keep their attention during this practice. (Football, Soccer and Cheerleading)

TOT FOOTBALL
WHEN: Wednesdays 6-7:00 p.m.

OVERVIEW: A great way to teach preschoolers, not only the basic skills needed in football, it is a great way to work on listening skills, cooperation, and sportsmanship.
WHAT TO BRING: Tennis shoes and water bottle.

Soccer shin guards recommended to be worn during class.

OVERVIEW: Preschool Sports will be participating in the Homecoming Parade! All are welcome to walk in the parade. Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Blesser Park. Everyone will be asked to bring a bag of candy to the parade.
EQUIPMENT USED: Pom poms provided.

OVERVIEW: Tot Basketball has been designed to introduce children to the game of basketball in a non-competitive environment through repetition and teamwork in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.
WHAT TO BRING: Tennis shoes and water bottle.
EQUIPMENT USED: Age appropriate safety equipment is used to include hoops and mini-basketballs.
KINDERGARTEN BASKETBALL
WHEN: Tuesdays 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. (rotating schedule)

OVERVIEW: League is designed for those children currently attending Pre-K and Kindergarten. League runs for five (5) weeks. Classes consist of a 30minute practice followed by a 30-minute game.
WHAT TO BRING: Tennis shoes, soft athletic shorts, t-shirt, and water bottle.
Soccer shin guards recommended to be worn during class.
EQUIPMENT USED: 7ft basketball hoop, intermediate size basketball
1st & 2nd GRADE BASKETBALL
WHEN: Thursdays 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. (rotating schedule)
