On Saturday, September 12th, from 1:30 pm - 4 pm Divine Scoops will hold a children's book reading and signing with an author from Avon Lake!

I Love You All the Way to God by Kathy King, Illustrated by Carl King

    Book Signing: 1:30-4pm

    Book Reading: 2pm & 3pm

BOOK SIGNING AND READING FOR ALL CHILDREN
AND FOR ALL THAT ARE CHILDREN AT HEART

Two Avon Lake High School graduates celebrate life and love by writing and illustrating a children’s book together. Long-time residents of Avon Lake, Kathy and Carl King honor Kathy’s father with a children’s book entitled I Love You all the Way to God.

How much do we love? Better yet, how do we measure love? The children in this book love their grandfather “all the way to God” and that’s a lot of love! Their #1 grandpa teaches them how to love and how to hug. Do you love someone “all the way to God?”

Written by Kathy King and illustrated by Carl King this book shows us that hugs come in all sizes and shapes.

Kathy will be visiting Avon Lake and on Saturday, September 12th and will be the “author in residence” at Divine Scoops, 140 Lear Road, Avon Lake.

Lindsay, the star of the book, wears a Wonder Woman superhero costume and is pictured on the cover of the book. Do you have a superhero costume?

JOIN US AT DIVINE SCOOPS. Kathy will be doing a book signing from 1:30-4:00 and will do a book reading at 2:00 and 3:00.

All children are welcome – come and get 50 cents off of your favorite ice cream and learn about hugs – BIG hugs, FUN hugs, HAPPY hugs, LAUGHING hugs, and a special grandpa. If you have a superhero’s costume, make sure you wear it!
