Local parents of a child who is diagnosed with a Sensory Processing Difference have recently started the organization Courage to connect CLE to help local families experiencing the same thing with their children.
As a social impact organization, the vision of Courage to Connect CLE is to encourage, enlighten and educate about sensory processing through family based integrated activities in Cleveland, Ohio. Our goal is to bring together a supportive community for families who have children experiencing our world through sensory processing differences. From the family 'As we navigated our own experiences many times we felt as if we were on an island. We want to connect with other families and create an empathetic environment that will help parents and children.'
The organization will be offering the following:
Opportunity #1: FREE Open House
Join us for our free Open Houses! We will introduce a sample of our exploratory sensory activities from our weekly programs! You will have a chance to reserve a spot for our weekly classes as well. Opportunity #2: Weekly Mini-Sessions
Beginning Wednesday, June 29, we will offer four 60-minute sessions for a caretaker and a child (you must have one adult per child to participate). We will investigate all eight senses during these introductory sessions. You didn’t know we had eight senses? Then you definitely need to join our discovery sessions!
