November ALECPTA General Meeting

PRESCHOOL PREVIEW NIGHT

A variety of area preschools have been invited to briefly discuss their programs and what they have to offer. They will also stick around to answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to learn about the local preschools before registration starts for the next school year. Many start registration in January/February. Regardless if you already have a chosen preschool, please plan on attending to talk with new moms about why you like the program you are in as well as learn what else is out there! We have a great community service project for November! 

                     COMMUNITY SERVICE INFORMATION:

Please help us provide homemade greeting cards and gift cards for the Village Project in Bay Village.   For the month of November we are asking that you have your children make Greeting Cards for the Village Project to give to their clients.   The Village Project provides cooked meals for families with cancer in Bay Village, Avon Lake, Rocky River and Westlake.    With the meals that they deliver, they love to include homemade greeting cards from children.   The cards can be made on plain paper, construction paper, etc.!  Get creative!  They can be a child's illustration with a "get well" greeting, a Happy Holiday message,  or any kind of well wish that you and your child desire!  The recipients love to receive the cards!  Along with the greeting cards we are also asking for either a monetary donation or a gift card donation.   Around the holidays, the Village Project does not provide cooked meals,  instead they give the recipients gift cards to local restaurants.    We as a group will donate the gift cards for the families during the holidays .    You can buy gift cards to Panera, Bob Evans, Applebee's, etc.
