Big Trucks, sponsored by the city of Avon Lake (and ALECPTA) encourages visitors to “See. Sit. Touch.”
Children can climb aboard the collection of safety and city vehicles also includes fire and police vehicles, the bomb-squad truck, a SWAT team vehicle, Army Humvee, DNR and the Coast Guard patrol boats, sewer cleaner, street sweeper, chipper, excavator and more.
The police and fire departments will be open for a tour and an array of activities for children and their parents focused on safety will be available.
Attendees can enjoy free food at the event, which runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Parking is available across Walker Road.
